| Good ol' Betty Stoggs has given me some good nights in the past (and the headaches to go with them!!). This time there's the likes of some Cornish Knockers on show as well as a few other favourites as it's sponsored by Skinners Brewery.
The race is around the National Trust Estate at Trelissick Gardens. As this was the venue for Ceri and Richard's wedding reception it'll once again experience a few good moves from selected Carn Runners (hopefully this time in a straight line!).
Here's the details we've been given. Presumably, enter on the night.
Start Time: 7.15pm Friday 8th August
Course: A hilly 10k course taking in the forests, fields and tracks of the breath taking Trelissick Estate overlooking the Fal Estuary
Parking: Plentiful and free
Entries: On the day only (so please arrive early and enjoy the view!)
Cost of Entry: £7.50 (for both affiliated and unaffiliated runners)
Toilets: Yes
Distance Markers: Every 1km
Water Stations: 2
Roads: Several very short sections on road (not traffic free but should be very quiet)
Prizes: For first 3 males and first 3 females as well as a goody bag for all entrants
